Subject: Request for Improvement and Provision of Public Amenities in Green Acres Locality
Dear Sir/Madam,
I hope this letter finds you in good health and high spirits. I am writing to you as a concerned resident of Green Acres, Bhubaneswar, to express our collective disappointment and concern over the glaring lack of basic public amenities in our locality. Despite being a rapidly growing residential area, Green Acres has been overlooked in terms of development and provision of essential services, adversely affecting the quality of life of its inhabitants.
The primary issues include:
1. Absence of a Public Park: There is no designated public park or green space in our locality, depriving residents, especially children and the elderly, of a vital recreational and social space.
2. Inadequate Street Lighting: Many streets in Green Acres suffer from inadequate lighting, raising safety concerns and restricting mobility after sunset.
3. Lack of Public Dustbins: The absence of public dustbins has led to indiscriminate disposal of waste, contributing to hygiene and sanitation issues.
4. Poor Road Conditions: The roads within Green Acres are in a state of disrepair, with numerous potholes and uneven surfaces, making commuting a challenge.
These shortcomings not only detract from the overall living experience but also pose health and safety risks to the community. It is imperative that the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation takes immediate steps to address these issues and improve the provision of public amenities in Green Acres.
We kindly request the Municipal Corporation to:
1. Allocate land and resources for the development of a public park within Green Acres.
2. Install adequate street lighting to ensure the safety and security of residents.
3. Place public dustbins at strategic locations to promote proper waste disposal.
4. Undertake road repair and maintenance work to improve infrastructure quality.
We believe that with the Municipal Corporation’s support and intervention, Green Acres can transform into a more livable and vibrant locality, offering a better quality of life to its residents.
