Subject: Formal Complaint against a Coworker for Unprofessional Behavior
Dear Mr. Singh,
I am writing to formally report and seek your intervention in a matter that has significantly affected my work environment and mental well-being. This complaint is against Mr. Arjun Mehra, a fellow software developer in our team, regarding continuous unprofessional behavior and harassment that I have been subjected to over the past few months.
Despite my attempts to resolve the matter informally by discussing it directly with Mr. Mehra, there has been no change in his behavior. The issues include, but are not limited to, making derogatory remarks about my work during team meetings, sending unsolicited and inappropriate messages outside of work hours, and deliberately undermining my contributions to our projects.
Such actions have not only created a hostile work environment for me but have also impacted my confidence, productivity, and professional relationships with other team members. I believe that everyone deserves to work in an environment that promotes respect, professionalism, and collaboration, free from harassment or discrimination.
I have documented emails and messages that substantiate my claims and am willing to provide these as evidence, should you require them for an investigation.
I request the HR department to take appropriate action in accordance with our company’s policy on workplace behavior and harassment. It is crucial that such matters are addressed promptly to ensure a safe and productive work environment for all employees.
