I hope this letter finds you well. My name is Manisha Verma, and I am the Head of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Department at Globex Enterprises Pvt. Ltd., a leading technology firm based in Hyderabad. We are writing to seek permission from the Hyderabad Municipal Corporation for a new CSR initiative we are planning to launch, titled “Green Hyderabad: A Tree Planting Drive.” Our goal is to plant 5,000 trees in various public parks, schools, and roadside areas within the city limits to promote environmental sustainability and enhance the green cover of Hyderabad.
Project Overview:
• Objective: To contribute to the environmental well-being of Hyderabad by increasing the city’s green cover, improving air quality, and creating awareness about the importance of trees.
• Scope: Planting native and drought-resistant tree species in pre-identified locations in collaboration with local schools, community organizations, and the Municipal Corporation.
• Duration: The tree planting drive is scheduled to commence on July 15, 2024, and will be completed in phases over three months.
Request for Permission: To ensure the success of this initiative, we kindly request the following:
• Approval to plant trees in designated public areas and parks.
• Assistance in identifying suitable locations for tree planting within the city.
• Support from the Municipal Corporation in terms of logistics and necessary clearances.
Commitment from Globex Enterprises:
• We will fund the entire project, including the procurement of saplings, tools, and materials required for planting and initial maintenance.
• Our employees will volunteer for the tree planting activities, supplemented by professional gardeners to ensure proper planting techniques.
• We will collaborate with local schools and community groups to foster community participation and environmental stewardship among residents.
