I am writing to express my deep concern and dissatisfaction with the persistent issue of uncollected garbage in and around the Lake View Apartments area, where I reside. This matter has not only become a visual eyesore but also poses significant health risks to the community members, including the spread of diseases and the attraction of pests.
Despite regular complaints lodged with the local municipal office, the situation has seen no improvement. The garbage bins are overflowing, and waste is scattered around the vicinity, indicating a lapse in the regular waste collection schedule supposed to be maintained by the municipal corporation.
The negligence has led to an unbearable stench permeating our living spaces, making it difficult to maintain a healthy and hygienic environment for our families. Moreover, the accumulation of waste has become a breeding ground for mosquitoes, flies, and rodents, escalating the risk of vector-borne diseases among residents.
As concerned citizens who take pride in the cleanliness and well-being of our community, we find it disheartening to witness the degradation of our neighborhood due to such basic sanitary issues. It is imperative that the Indore Municipal Corporation takes immediate and effective action to rectify this situation.
We request the following measures be taken at the earliest:
1. Resume regular and prompt garbage collection in the Lake View Apartments area.
2. Conduct a clean-up drive to remove the existing waste accumulation around the residential blocks.
3. Implement strict monitoring and maintenance of waste collection schedules to prevent future lapses.
The health and safety of our community are of utmost importance, and we believe that with timely intervention from the municipal authorities, we can restore the cleanliness and hygiene of our neighborhood.
