Subject: Complaint Regarding Unauthorized Construction in Maple Grove Society

I hope this letter finds you well. I am reaching out to express my concerns and to file a formal complaint about an ongoing unauthorized construction project within Maple Grove Society, specifically the structure being erected on Plot No. 17. This construction blatantly violates the zoning laws and regulations set forth by the Coimbatore City Planning Department and has caused considerable distress among the residents of our society.
The construction commenced approximately two weeks ago, without any prior notice or approval visibly displayed, as required by law. The structure, as it stands, not only infringes upon the mandated building codes but also disrupts the aesthetic and structural harmony of our residential area. Moreover, it poses potential safety hazards, given the close proximity to adjacent homes and the lack of adherence to construction standards.
Residents of Maple Grove Society have repeatedly approached the individuals responsible for the construction, seeking clarification and documentation of the necessary permits, only to be met with evasion and non-compliance. This situation has escalated concerns regarding the legality of the construction and the precedence it sets for future development within our community.
Therefore, we urgently request the Coimbatore City Planning Department to:
1. Conduct an immediate investigation into the unauthorized construction on Plot No. 17, Maple Grove Society.
2. Enforce a halt to the construction activities until proper permits and approvals are obtained and verified.
3. Take appropriate legal action against the violators for non-compliance with the city’s zoning laws and building regulations.
4. Ensure that all future construction projects within our society are subjected to rigorous scrutiny and adherence to legal and safety standards.
The residents of Maple Grove Society are committed to maintaining the integrity, safety, and aesthetic value of our community. We trust that the City Planning Department will act promptly to address this issue and uphold the rule of law.
