I am writing to express my concern and dissatisfaction with the significant delay in the processing of my building plan approval by the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation. Despite submitting all required documents and fulfilling the necessary criteria, my application (Application No. AMC123456), submitted on January 15, 2024, has yet to be processed.
The delay in approval has not only stalled my project but also incurred financial losses due to the holding costs and contractual obligations I am bound to with various stakeholders involved in the construction. The prolonged waiting period, coupled with a lack of communication and updates from the concerned department, has compounded the frustration and inconvenience.
Understanding the workload and challenges faced by government offices, I had anticipated a reasonable processing time. However, the absence of any progress over the past four and a half months seems unjustifiable and requires immediate attention.
Therefore, I kindly request the following actions be taken at the earliest:
1. A thorough review of my application to identify and resolve any issues causing the delay.
2. An update on the current status of my application and an estimated timeline for the completion of the approval process.
3. Implementation of measures to streamline and expedite the processing of building plan approvals to prevent future delays for applicants.
The growth and development of our city rely on efficient and responsive governance. I trust that the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation will address this complaint with the seriousness it deserves and take swift action to facilitate the progression of my project.
