I hope this letter finds you in good health. My name is Anita Deshpande, a resident of Shanti Vihar Colony, Indore. I am writing to draw your immediate attention to the poor and hazardous road conditions prevalent in our locality. Despite numerous complaints raised by the residents to the local ward office, there has been no substantial action taken to address this pressing issue.
The roads in Shanti Vihar Colony have been in a state of neglect for over a year now, with numerous potholes, uneven surfaces, and waterlogging becoming a common sight, especially during the monsoon season. These conditions not only make daily commute challenging and unsafe for vehicles and pedestrians alike but also pose a significant risk of accidents.
Moreover, the poor road conditions have led to increased wear and tear of vehicles, resulting in financial burdens on the residents for frequent repairs. The situation has also adversely affected the local businesses in the area, deterring customers due to the inaccessibility and risk of damage.
In light of the above, we, the residents of Shanti Vihar Colony, urgently request the Indore Nagar Palika to:
1. Conduct a comprehensive assessment of the road conditions in our locality.
2. Initiate immediate repairs and resurfacing work to address the potholes and uneven road surfaces.
3. Ensure proper drainage systems are in place to prevent waterlogging during the rainy season.
The safety and well-being of the community members are of paramount importance, and it is imperative that the Nagar Palika takes swift action to rectify these issues. We are hopeful for a proactive response and are willing to extend our cooperation in any initiatives or discussions that may be required to expedite the resolution process.
