Subject: Complaint Regarding Unfair Examination Practices in Recent Board Exams
Dear Sir/Madam,
I hope this letter finds you in good health. I am writing to you as a concerned parent and on behalf of several other parents from Riverdale Society, Kochi, to raise a serious complaint about the unfair examination practices that were observed during the recent CBSE board examinations held in March 2024.
It has come to our attention that there were significant discrepancies in the conduct of the examinations at the ABC Examination Centre (Centre Code: 12345) in Kochi. Reports from our children and other students include instances of inadequate supervision, allowing some examinees to engage in malpractices such as using unfair means to complete their papers. Furthermore, there were complaints about the invigilators turning a blind eye to such actions, which has raised concerns about the integrity of the examination process and the fairness towards hardworking students who rely on their merit.
Such practices not only undermine the value of the examinations but also demoralize the students who diligently prepare and rely on their knowledge and abilities. The impact of these malpractices on the results and future opportunities for these students cannot be overstated.
In light of the above, we kindly request the CBSE to:
1. Conduct a thorough investigation into the conduct of the examinations at the ABC Examination Centre, specifically looking into the complaints mentioned above.
2. Take appropriate disciplinary action against any individuals found to be complicit in allowing or engaging in unfair examination practices.
3. Review the examination and invigilation protocols to implement stricter measures that prevent such incidents in the future.
4. Consider re-evaluation or re-examination options for the affected students to ensure that their performance is fairly assessed.
We trust in the CBSE’s commitment to upholding the highest standards of academic integrity and fairness. We are hopeful that prompt and effective action will be taken to address these concerns and restore our confidence in the examination process.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. We look forward to your prompt response and resolution of this issue.
Sincerely,
Deepak Sharma
